General information
The School - taking place in the enchanting Amalfi Coast - is aimed at graduate students and Post-doc researchers, and offer the fascinating possibility to meet selected experts belonging to different areas in Exoplanetary Science. Every year the school covers hot topics of Exoplanetary Science offering to the participants a deep overview from different prospectives (theoretical, experimental, phenomenological).
This year the focus will be on Methods of Detecting Exoplanets, in particular in the most productive ones: Radial Velocity, Photometric Transits, Gravitational Microlensing and Direct Imaging techniques.
The School is open to graduate students and young Post-doc researchers. The registration fee is € 320 (Euro), and includes a copy of the Proceedings, conference kit and coffee breaks. Lodging and meals (full-board accommodation in the selected Hotel: Hotel La Lucertola), for the entire duration of the course (arrival on Sunday May 24, departure in the morning of Saturday May 30, 2015), will be in the order of € 540-600 (Euro). A limited number of grants, partially covering the accommodation, will be assigned to several participants, upon request and after a careful screening of CVs and home institution funding capabilities.
