The International Institute for Advanced Scientific Studies (IIASS) was established in 1981, mainly at the wish of Prof. Eduardo R. Caianiello eminent scientific figure on international scale, and Professor Maria Marinaro. The main aim of IIASS, as defined in its Statute, is to contribute to the development and increase of studies and research direct to the analysis of the principles and issues regarding the fields of major advanced scientific interest, with particular regard to Physics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Psychology and Sociology, as well as to develop and carry out continuum education and professional updating, masters, advanced educational courses, research, studies and assistance activities in the social and sanitary field in order to safeguard health.
Nanotechnology Materials and Devices Conference, 22-25 Oct (Sun-Wed), Paestum (Salerno), Italy
IEEE NMDC is a flagship conference series of the IEEE Nanotechnology Council (NTC), focusing on research advances in the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology.
The IEEE NMDC 2023 will be held in the pleasant environment of the ancient city of Paestum, one of the most important archeological sites of south Italy, UNESCO heritage since 1997. WIRN 2023 will be held at the IIASS. The 31st Edition of the Italian Workshop on Neural Networks is the annual conference of the Italian Society of Neural Networks (SIREN) and is organized, since 1989, in co-operation with the International Institute for Advanced Scientific Studies (IIASS) in Vietri S/M (Italy). It is a traditional event devoted to the discussion of novelties and innovations related to field of Artificial Neural Networks. In recent years, it also became a multidisciplinary forum on psychological and cognitive theories for modelling human behaviours.
The 4th Advanced School on Exoplanetary Science will be held in Vietri sul Mare (Salerno), Italy from 22 to 26 May, 2023. The School - taking place close to the enchanting Amalfi Coast - is aimed to provide a comprehensive, state-of-the-art picture of a variety of relevant aspects of the fast-developing, highly interdisciplinary field of Exoplanet research. The Lecture topics of the 4th edition of the School will be focused on the Astrophysics of Transiting Exoplanet Systems, covering both the theoretical and observational perspectives. Premio "E.R.
